About Mahalo

You've worked hard to play your best and your amp should let that skill shine through. Note separation (even at high gain), and clarity make our amps stand out. There are lots of amp companies in the world that build a great amp. Most are closely based on an American or British amp design from the 1960's but offer a much higher build quality than the big names can offer.

We've taken a different approach. Since our inception in 2009 we've focused on building amps that create great tone and sound like what you hear in your head without making you sound like everyone else. Our amps have been used by The Zac Brown Band, Needtobreathe, Fuel, Blackberry Smoke, Collective Soul, Jason Mraz Band, and more. Mahalos have been on The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, and The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Even the Marie Osmond Show. In addition Mahalo amps are being used by platinum record producers, touring musicians, and anyone looking for great tone at usable volumes. Of course each Mahalo amp gives you control, reliability, and tons of touch sensitivity while maintaining the high build quality you'd expect from a hand built boutique amp. We even made them look cool.

You can dial your Mahalo down to keep any soundman happy (or keep the lady of the house off your back) and still love your tone. All Mahalo amps are built to respond to you and how, and where, you play.

Our Philosophy

It's a fact. The more stuff between your strings and the speakers, the more the tone of your guitar is degraded. (It's science.) We created an amp lineup that you can use to create killer clean and dirty tones without adding pedals or channels so more of your playing gets through to the speakers. And ultimately to your audience. Our philosophy is simple; no bad settings on the amp.

Our Mission

Our mission at Mahalo is to build the ultimate gigging and studio amp that can also live quietly at home. We work hard to make sure that we attain that goal and you get killer tone, usability, and reliability. Because after all is said and done it's about the tone. Period.
